  Uttam Chakrabarty was born in India and migrated to Canada in the late seventies. Mr. Chakrabarty holds a responsible position with a petroleum giant, Suncor Enery Product Inc, Mr. Chakrabarty and his wife Lina Chakrabarty are lover of music and art and always encourages artists and singers. Mr. Chakrabarty is also a founder member for Toronto-Calcutta Foundation, an NGO, which helps poor people in India by providing free medical assistance and education.

Recently, I bought two of Biswajit Nayak's paintings and will treasure
them as long as I live. I really like the colour in these paintings and it
brings out the depth he posses as an artist. No doubt in my mind that he
is a talented artist and will go far with his creativity. I wish him all
the best.
